Mobile van tyre fitting: how it works
Send us the tyre size, or a photo of the sidewall on WhatsApp, with where the van is and whether it has locking wheel nuts. You get a price and an arrival time, and the driver rings with updates on the way.
At the van, we jack it with the handbrake on, take the wheel off and check it for other damage. In our van the tyre is fitted, inflated to the right pressure and balanced, then the wheel goes back on, torqued to the manufacturer's figure. In our core area, a tyre change usually takes 60 to 90 minutes from your call to driving away.
On a motorway or dual carriageway, or at the roadside in an emergency, we fit the tyre but don't balance the wheel: you book the balancing for a time that suits you, somewhere safe. If a van has stopped at the side of the road, see roadside tyre repair.
Commercial mobile tyre fitting: what we cover
We fit tyres on vans and light lorries up to 7.5 tonnes, as well as cars, 4x4s and SUVs, but not on heavier lorries. Not sure whether yours counts? Send a photo of the tyre's sidewall and we'll tell you from the size.
We repair punctures in van tyres too, the same way as our mobile puncture repair.
We're wary of part-worn tyres of unknown history, because you never know where they came from or how the tread has worn.
Fleet tyre services for local businesses
We already handle emergency call-outs and fleet tyres for local businesses. Because we work 24 hours a day, tyres can be done before your drivers start or after they finish, while the vans are parked up. Regular fleet tyre checks are available, and fleets can pay by invoice.

How soon we reach a van that's off the road
In our core area we're usually with you in 30 to 60 minutes, with two vans covering south east London, Surrey and Kent from Bromley. Further out, we tell you the real arrival time when you call, and we don't take jobs more than 2 hours away unless you can't find anyone else.

Do you fit lorry tyres?
On light lorries up to 7.5 tonnes, yes. JL Mobile Tyres fits tyres on cars, vans and light lorries up to 7.5 tonnes, but not on heavier lorries.
