What happens when you call us
You tell us where you are, your tyre size and whether you have the locking wheel nut key, and we give you a price and an arrival time before we set off. Not sure of the size? Send a photo of the tyre's sidewall on WhatsApp and we'll read it off for you. If the key is lost, we can remove the locking wheel nuts too.
Say yes, and a driver leaves straight away and rings you with updates on the way. In our core area, a tyre change usually takes 60 to 90 minutes from your call to driving away.
- We help you find the locking wheel nut key if it's tucked away in the car.
- The car goes up on the jack with the handbrake on, and the wheel comes off and gets checked for other damage.
- In the van, the old tyre comes off, the wheel is cleaned and prepped, and the new tyre is fitted, inflated to the right pressure and balanced in our van. We don't balance at the roadside in an emergency, or ever on a motorway or dual carriageway: you book the balancing for a time that suits you, somewhere safe.
- Back on the car, the wheel is torqued to the manufacturer's figure and we reset the tyre pressure sensors (TPMS) with you.
- You pay the driver and drive away.

Our two vans run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so a flat at night doesn't have to wait for the morning or for a recovery truck. An emergency call-out means we leave straight away, and there's no extra charge at night or at weekends.
At any hour you can call, or WhatsApp us your location and a photo of the tyre. You get a price and an arrival time back, and once you're happy, the van is on its way.
How soon can you get to me?
In our core area we're usually with you in 30 to 60 minutes. Further out it takes longer, and we tell you the real arrival time when you call, not a time picked to win the job.
We don't take jobs more than 2 hours away unless you can't find anyone else. Put your postcode into our booking page to see your usual arrival time before you ring.
Is it cheaper to book for tomorrow?
Yes. There's a call-out charge, and a higher one for emergencies, so if the car is safe where it is and you can wait, a booked, non-urgent job is the cheaper way.
Booking ahead suits work that isn't urgent, like a seasonal swap: in September 2025 we changed a set of four summer tyres to winter tyres in Croydon. Starting prices for every job are on our cost guide, and the tyre is priced on top of the call-out.
Emergency tyre repair or a new tyre?
It depends on the damage, which is why we ask for a photo before we set off. A nail or screw can often be repaired on the spot, from the inside to BS AU159, while a blowout or a torn sidewall needs a new tyre. Our mobile puncture repair page explains how we repair.
We can get any tyre in any brand and size for cars, vans, 4x4s and SUVs. If more than one tyre is damaged, tell us when you call: in July 2026 we did an emergency double tyre change on a Mercedes E-Class in Bromley.
